First official mod was blind spot mirror for drivers side because again I wasn't wealthy enough to spring for that package j/k

    IMG_0878.jpg

This still counts as a mod right?

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
It's a custom 3D printed kit. Each panel is printed separately. Chassis is also custom and mostly printed except running gear. You can get them from Mfab on FB or IG. Comes like this and the rest is up to you. My first time building or even having an RC and took me a long time.

Installed some modded headlights by @no vtec 4me that turned out phenomenally. Kevin is a great guy and makes some awesome headlights for a great price if you’re looking at upgrading headlights.

No. I think my issue was definitely the aftermarket skid plate. The width of the bar should be the same, no?

I had to do the same but I also did the hoist relocation mod so I could just hoist it up and have it be in the right place. It is a simple mod.

Well not as cheap as the one piece lexan kits but the body kit is $240, chassis/IFS kit comes with everything but motor, servo and wheels. $450. Of course that doesn't include accessories. I also had other custom parts made like racks, custom one of aluminum cnc'd wheels and other custom parts I made to match my real truck. Lot of fun to build. Well most of the time. :D

Went to drain my front diff fluid today after the gears are broken in and what ya know... bolt stripped. Really is a horrible design from Toyota.

A much needed wash for the truck tonight after work. Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Maguiars Detail Spray. Naturally realized I was out of tire shine post wash.

It’s really feeling like summer here in the PNW. 89 degrees at 7:30 tonight.

Installed Timbren Bump stops and an All Pro U bolt Flip kit.

Got the Timbrens and Flip Kit for $40 off of Craigslist. Bought new U bolts for $56. Had to modify the base of the Timbrens a bit, but it's a significant savings over the price of this kit new.

Also found out I'm missing a piece of hardware to fasten my ebrake cable to my AAL Pack, so I ziptied it up for the time being.

I learned the hard way myself. Note to self: ALWAYS remove the inlet plug first to make sure it is not rusted in place. It was manual transmission so I was able to get the fluid in via the shifter hole.
