Thats a good question lol. wtf AM i doing? ...looking at relentless fab bumpers, and aluminess bumpers in the group buys...for no good reason cause I got no dough for goodies. they sure look tight tho.

What was your bad experience with BFGs ? I am on my 3th set between my old truck and this one...nothing but love for me... still like the look of the duratrecs tho...for next time...maybe. i would still spend $600 to save $600 on those BFGs if I could. :goingcrazy: At least mine only have >20k on em so I got a whiles. thank goodness.

Did you sell a 75 year old member a broken stereo? Or was he just using it wrong? I forgot to check back on that thread

Sorry bro I sold it to a member here a couple days ago. He had the AFE prodry too and damn did that thing get hella dirty. Since I'm running the stock intake now I gotta saw WOWOWOWOW. HUGE difference for me... Intake actually did quite a bit... Oh Well hahaha. Thanks for the comment man! He also said my intake made his exhaust louder which is probably cuz its not sucking in any hot air with the box. Maybe he will chime in on it once hes on.

That old man was just using it wrong. There was nothing wrong with that stereo actually. I've seen it working all the time, even before it was shipped out. We even tested it in my truck before and it did work!

chiming in here, the TRD CAI w/ WickedFlow Exhaust sounds sweet, i dont have the growl that the open air / heat shield AFE one had but i am noticing that im not heavy footed on the gas pedal but im moving along faster then i would with the afe prob because its not sucking up hot air.

Altough the main reason i made the switch is because i do alot of dirt road driving and the sealed box of the TRD CAI will help out alot with less dust making its way to the filter. But for anyone not doing alot of off road driving 4+ days a week the AFE system is the perfect setup.
