Agree. Fork is irrelevant for this discussion, at least when it comes to bikes intended purpose

That was so painful to watch. He got really lucky he didn’t go a little further left.

exactly. I’ve had some bad crashes and the sounds he made gave me flashbacks. I was surprised he came out with a concussion and hurt shoulder, I was thinking it was going to be way worse. But then again the slurred speech was a clue that he hit his head REALLY hard.

Yeah he definitely had a severe concussion, no question about that. I’d say it’s worse than most other injuries, especially with how he said he’s had a lot before. Those noises he made were scary for sure

For shits sake, that man needs to wear full face helmets. He flies on bikes and routinely hits trees albeit a bit slower than that normally.

he really should. That dude hauls And probably takes a few too many risks given his history of eating it haha. He doesn’t seem like he’s the kind of guy to tone it down though, when he’s healthy at least

Actually, there are some who think the replacement for the Smuggler may not be another Smuggler, but the point is well taken.

I still personally consider bikes with 140+ stock at either end as a separate category.

I think of the joke label "downcountry" as more of an XC rig with balls moreso than a neutered trail bike, so the 120-130mm range at both ends is the sweet spot IMO.

Nice !! I Love it. You might be able to get a different color decal to put over your front S.

yeah I've seen some on like Etsy or whatever just haven't been able to make a decision. I know it will just be a sticker, so not sure why it's so hard to pull the trigger lol

    Thanks for the insight.

I've had my Rakattach for almost a year. Generally happy with it. The only thing that has me thinking is the amount of flex. We have a 1up Heavy Duty (or maybe Super Duty can't remember) and 2 mtn bikes. I can see the bikes are secure on the 1up but there is a lot of bouncing around when we go down slightly bumpy roads.
