They do, I think you need to slow down when looking for info... if you go through the motions of selecting the vehicle then it leads you to the option available for the 2020 Tacoma. 2019 Tacoma has Entune 2, 2020 Tacoma has Entune 3.

 

Ok it does say for 2020 but if I look at it without the search it says only 2019.

Also on the cable, don't I need 2 of those?

 

Right, but 2019 Tacoma does not have Entune 3.0. 2020 does. When the 'To' column is blank it typically would include years proceeding. Maybe there are additional cables inside the box?

I believe you had said prior that you have a Germes unit but it doesn't work? Is the one you have made for an Entune 2 or an Entune 3 head unit?
Looking at the images in the link that @daveeasa provided, the Germes Entune 3 interface has DIP switches and a programming port. The Entune 2 interface doesn't have that. Does your Germes have the DIP switches and port?

 

I believe it was the Etune 2 not Etune 3. I reached out to Germes to get my questions answered. I already sold the Germes to someone else here so I do not have it handy but the cables it came with would not plug in to my existing harness. I am not sure if buy the etune 3 that it would come with the cables. It doesn't say at Germes, maybe I missed something? They seem to sell cables separately.

 

The Germes comes with the necessary cables. For a 2020 you need an Entune 3 compatible Germes unit, however FreshMex had indicated that he couldn't get it to work. You probably need to either contact Germes directly, or wait for FreshMex to get it sorted out.

 

And that is pretty much where I am at. Germes needs to get off their buttox and get'er done.

FreshMex is doing what he can, so I'd rather wait for him to have everything ready. I am in no rush.

I do want to swap wheels though. I like these better.

Hey I just talked to Germes. They said their Gen3 box works for 2020 Tacomas and offered me a full refund if it does not work.

So I will order mine and see. I was hoping to wait for FreshMex but Im itchy to get this done.

 

I am willing to help you troubleshoot for the benefit of everyone. First step is the plugs have to match so let’s see what they send you.

 

Thanks. I did ask them specifically and they said it does. When it gets here I will snap the pics and compare it to the pics I have of the connectors. Not pulling my dash apart if this isn't gonna work.

This is the pdf of manual. The install instructions are sparse, but it's mostly a case of removing a few connectors from the back of the head unit then plugging the Germes cables into the head unit and then plugging the factory harness cables into the Germes cable. The remaining task is to plug your camera signal and power wires into the connectors provided for them on the Germes cables.

 

Kit should be here next thursday for etune 3.0. If this doesn't work I'm gonna find a tall bridge and jump off (with a bungee cord).
