I found out later that he was there shooting a recruiting piece for the military. There were others with him but I didn't see anybody but him.

Maju, you worked for NOSC? My step-dad used to. Which leads me to #1,

-Took my gf in 6th grade to swim with dolphins.
-Bear hugged a Mahi Mahi so it would stop flapping around while hooked through my friend's leg.
-PADI certified at age 11. First open water was deeper than I was supposed to go and it was in a cave. (Moku Manu)
-Raked up an F/A-18C. (Crash in Fallon, pilot safely ejected)
-Had a "Bravo Zulu" in the back of Mech Magazine.
-Have an almost complete, movie replica quality, Boba Fett costume.

Had to delete a bunch of crap. It was starting to look like a "bucket" list, lol.

Yes, worked there, and with EOD for a while. Did you get to see the belugas or were they not available to the "public" when you got to swim?

I don't remember Belugas. The oddball I remember was a Chinese Flower Whale?(I think it's the one that had zinc oxide on it) And possibly a False Killer Whale? This was about 20 years ago, so it's a little foggy.

I just swam with the Atlantic Bottle Noses. She was too afraid haha. In the pens by the hangars, not the main NOSC area across the runway.

Do the names McSheehy and Corey ring any bells?

Got in my first wreck, i was 16, and hit a motorcycle COP, and broke his leg, scariest day ever. Hitting a cop and his siren came on and he went flying in the air.

LOL! no, but the thought crossed my mind!:D
I did have a guide, and If by aid you are referring to equipment vs. free climb then yes, of course!
The guide was a local for-hire guy. We went 1/2 way up the west side the first day, then all the way to the summit the second. You can see the Grand Tetons on the other side of Wyoming from the top...
    Unreal.:D
    It WAS life changing.
