Did you buy at $0.386 ish? It's starting to gap up..maybe a run soon

 

I’m celebrating either way. I just turned in my final assignment and I’m now a college graduate with a 4.0. It only took 13 years of in and out tenure, but that chapter is finally closed.

 

Submitted at that, purchased at 0.39

 

presently down $4,200 on paper with NRZ but I own the shares at zero cost at this point due to dividends...

 

Well, Bank of Montreal could decide to do some shenanigans or they could go belly up too. That said, same thing, if that happens we're in a worse situation than me losing a few bucks on an investment.

I'm hoping that I have a reason to drink on the 4th weekend. It could be good or bad, I want to have a reason more so than just "It's the 4th". BUT If that's all there is, I guess I can make do with that

 

When I counted dividends paid, tax loss write off, and the fact that I immediately got into SPHD at a low price, it wasn't nearly as bad as it looked. Still not a good feeling to sell at a loss no matter how you look at it.

 

I'm gonna be sitting on a dock with a beer in one hand and a fishing pole in the other.

Can't think of a better reason than that.

 

Actually that reminds me I should see if I still have my surf casting rod up in .... I mean.... at my house....that I am not crossing state lines to get to....

I could probably get something off the beach where we're going, not sure how the inlaws would feel about me scaling and fileting a fish though....they're more grocery store goers.

 

My parents pool is open...I'll take it poolside...

 

I am still kicking myself for not buying at 2400 levels. I waited until 2800 to start moving back in.

 

I just sold 500 shares of CMRE and I'm shifting it into...It's been stale at around $5.50 for a looooong time and now seems like a good day to dump and see what I can do by putting it into a 3x leveraged ETF that's trading 20% lower...any suggestions

 

Short TVIX.

I'm even for the day but I picked up 1000 more shares of INO. Then I sold 10 calls on those. These trades will be a profitable no matter what happens. The call premiums won't settle until tomorrow so I'm be up a lot tomorrow AM. It's crazy. I recouped 26% of the stock price by selling those calls.

I think this strategy will become how I handle my IRA. It allows me quickly get in and out. So I don't get killed in days like today.

 

You ever tried NAIL or NRGU?

Alright...as the bell sounds I now have 2050 shares of NRGU @$4.42..Did some bargain shopping today and I'm holding on to some $$ just in case...

 

Selling at 5?

 

It's all how things look...if Oil is recovering nicely then I'll set a stop loss but I don't have a definitive out right now

 

Count me in the NRGU hopeful crowd, was watching it drop past my initial buy in point and decided to double down and buy more. In at 3.85-3.92, so I'm hoping for at least 8 to get my initial investment out then let profits ride up a bit.

Figured I might as well go all in on oil and picked up some VLO while it was at a low today, probably short term with that but they have a good dividend.

 

It will take several consecutive good days for 8. We are all being very hopeful

 

22
