Lmao they’re gonna be coated with bedliner after this but I was thinking of doing the BAMF logo in just primer so it matches

Haha same here man! I don’t get how these people keep it their miles so low. I’m at 7 months and 18k already. But hey, at least we’re using our trucks

Other than warranty concerns, I’ve definitely become more of a “I bought it so I’m gonna use it and use it as intended” guy the older I’ve gotten lol.

Well if you do coat it in clear first . Primer is porous and will allow moisture through. Steel will rust and aluminum will cause it to bubble. Seal it off with some clear . Tape off your logo if you use bed liner and make sure to scuff the clear with scotchbrite or 320 grit or else the Bed-liner will not adhere to the clear .

I like them a lot! They are awesome on the trail, the on road manners are very good, and I love the aggressive look. I did lose 1-1.5 mpgs when I went to them from the Toyo RTs and there is a little vibration from the lugs when driving slow and turning but I think that's all normal w/ an MT. Doesn't bother me but the wife has called it out a few times. It's the first set of MTs I've had so can't really compare to any others. With all of this being said, the Toyo AT IIIs are next on my list.

I use the USB port for a 16 GB thumb drive with a shit-ton of music on it, and a 12-volt USB plug in the console with the cord run under the trim. I hated the plug interfering with the passenger cupholder...and my passengers unplugging my stuff when they got a drink.

The logo is a separate piece, so I’m painting that on its own. However, I think I’ll just go find some grey enamel just to be safe. Although I kinda like the idea of red too.

Mine was purchased in feb 2016 . I now have 93k on it with 33’s front bumper ,rear with swing out and sliders . All steel with a winch . I was driving it five days a week for work and on the weekends for fun though . From Georgia to San Diego. Down to Florida and up to Michigan. I even shipped it to a deserted island to camp on for four days . I love it.

I had to buy another car a year ago to keep miles off of it.

Yep, going in for my second 12 month Toyota care oil change tomorrow with 12K miles on the Taco. That includes two 1K roundtrips to Houston.

Actually just threw a car cover over it today after a thorough post-beach wash. Garage is full with two other cars, so the Taco sits on a parking pad under an oak tree. Didn't really want to get a cover, but the crap that falls out of the tree, especially after the almost daily afternoon shower, leaves it a total mess. :anonymous:

Oh, and I ordered my MESO TRD red start button today.

Well my AAL bracket came pre tapped for the screw. The passengers side is still all well and good, no issues.

My last workday before retirement is tomorrow - 2d and final retirement is effective July 1st. One more Board of Trustees meeting to conduct, pass the budget for the coming year, get the necessary Board motions for the new president and leadership team and my tenure will be pretty much in the books. I had my last leadership cabinet meeting today at the College - haven't met in person since Mid-March so it was great to "see" everyone in person (except one who's wife is weeks away from having a baby so we didn't want to chance bringing him in - he's on the computer). I will miss these Rock Stars.

Oh, and I'm at 1485 miles on my 2020 Pro - due for its first 6 month service next month. Hopefully, I'll be driving it more once I retire and it becomes my daily driver.
