So sounds like Jeff may have actually fractured a lumbar vertebra when he fell on Black. He will have an MRI done next week to confirm.

Yep, I hear you will be able to buy a pass to ride Riveter in the morning and Kanuga in the afternoon, or vice versa.

Looking into building a new wheel set. Pretty set on I9 Hydra hubs, anyone have a favorite pair of hoops? Not sure on carbon. I feel as if I'm building a pair of wheels, might as well bump them to carbon. Any thoughts?

Really happy with the WTB KOM Tough rims I paired with my Hydras and I haven't been gentle to them.

I’ve been rocking Raceface arc30 offset. I’ve been trying... but haven’t been able to bend one yet.

If you wanted a carbon rim, I second this vote.

I have arc 45s on my Stache and they are pretty great

edit: I guess mine are technically Easton though, pre-race face arc

Yeah, it was an Easton Arc27 I blew up. But then again, I was a noob and didn't understand line choice.

Beaverdam is still open, but we lost the Old Creedmoor bandit trails due to misuse/trespassing issues; as well as a few shorter trails over near the Pines/Reservoir due to new construction. Other than that, we're actually gaining new trail on a fairly regular basis thanks to a bunch of really great trail gnomes in the area (like Jeff).

The pending bigger loss (IMO) will be if/when we lose the 286 bandit trails to the Airport Authority. If they finally fence those off, I'm probably going to shed a tear. The creek in 286 is my favorite trail in the entire area. :(
