    I should probably take the time to quantify my previous statement. I ALWAYS turn the mower deck off before getting up off the seat while leaving the mower running.

    I just leave the mower running 24 hours a day, that way the grass it’s parked over will always stay cut and it’s less work to do when I go out there to mow the rest of it.

    I've left my safety sensors alone, I try to get anything picked up before mowing so I only get on and off of mower one time.

    You should wear the boot. It hurts, but it stabilizes your ankle joint.
    I have been through a similar deal with my right ankle and it has never been the same...
