I should get my splint off next week, then I can start getting some shit done. Need to hang cameras, clear deadfalls off roadways so I can mow, spread lime on food plots then disc them, then start checking deer stands.

Non-Random pics (cuz I promised pics of the Spring where I get drinking water).

Kinda hard to see the water, it's crystal clear.
There's significant flow. It's the headwaters for a trout stream.

    20200624_184231.jpg

Many many years ago there was a homestead here.
Like the period of the French and Indian War...mid 1700s.
The homesteader did the rough masonry.
There remain few other traces of human settlement, just a few stones from the cabin's chimney and root cellar.

    20200624_184246.jpg

Mrs Gritto says she can't tell the difference between this and our tap water when she makes her tea.
    Which is pretty good actually.
But I can sure tell the difference.
I use it to make my coffee.

Good day at "work" today surveying a mitigation property for federally threatened frogs. Property is preserved in perpetuity. Even dropped my phone while standing over a waterfall. Hiked down, went fir a swim, and phone still works. Love this phone. Even saved a threatened frog that should never try yoga again.
