Alexa Update (2019 Tacoma)

Alexa doesn't support making calls either.... and once you've started Alexa, the push-to-talk button olny seems to work with Alexa.

Holding the button longer, as in some cats, doesn't seem to make a difference.

The only easy way out of "Alexa mode" so you can make calls, enter adresses,etc, is to hit the mode button first.

 

You have an iphone? I tried right now from the app on my phone and get the same message. So the issue might be there and not with entune?

 

Anyone know how to delete LiveXLive?

An annoying as fuc& pop up keeps requesting me to log on to it.

 

Just create a free account and log onto it.

 

Mine is android.... and I do have spotify linked to my alexa account. Works fine at home.

 

They gave us Alexa that works half ass. Why?
Doesn’t automatically give directions, doesn’t Spotify, doesn’t text, doesn’t do damn anything

Excellent. Thanks for the heads up. I now have a reason to use my long-ago-deleted-but-now-reinstalled Entune app. Works great.

 

this only works for 3.0. Couldn’t get it connect on mine.

 

Can confirm that it doesn't work for Spotify on Android. Would be great if a button just launched the Google Assistant instead.

Not Spotify though but I like the news.

 

my volume is super low now, but sometimes it will get loud as hell then get quite again.

 

RCAWill82, I agree it is very low. However the update makes me very pleased with it.

Just wish some UI changes are done to it now having it released to everyone, and allow it to handle disconnects from bluetooth better.

 

I just checked for my 19 Tacoma and nothing on Toyota.ca.
