If this bike arrives on US shores......I will be putting a deposit on one!:D

The cross tourer. A concept bike on basis of VFR1200 engine and most likely the replacement of the XL1000 Varadero late 2011. Surprisingly they did not show the ST1300 Pan-European replacement on basis of the same VFR1200 engine yet. The bike seems to be ready and sales of ST1300 are drastrically declining.

Its time for Honda to step up and join the dual purpose market. Kinda looks like the engineers were dreaming about the BMW GS when they sketched this one...:D. I hope they build it, if they do I will buy it.:D

I have two BMW R12GSes (one with a sidecar) and would welcome the competition. Might shake up those BMW Motorrad executives who have been taking us for granted for so long!

I have been waiting on Honda to jump into the dual sport market. I had an 05 BMW Adventure which I really enjoyed for awhile. I like a tall bike as I am 6'5. It will be interesting to see if this hits US shores.

Honda needs some WOW factor in the US market as some of its current stock has the yawn factor right now. This would be a nice shot in the arm.

I'm right with you on this. I just hope they don't de-tune it too badly.
My current ride is a ZX-14, I'm spoiled by the horsepower, but I'm 6'3 and it's not comfortable for more than 100 miles or so at a time.
Prior to the 14 I owned a BMW R1100RT and last spring went to look at the GS Adventure, fit me like it was custom built for my frame, the only thing is the issues with the final drive on the Beemers make me nervous. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this Honda to make it here.

That is a nice bike! but its very expensive, I much better and lower cost alternative would be either the Suzuki 1000 V Strom (650 V Strom too s-l-o-w), or the Yamaha FJR1300.

Nice bike! I love the BMW GS Series but they're very expensive, hopefully this will be a less expensive alternative.
