What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Someone needs to have an intervention with me and maybe take away my welder.

 

Today, I finished the box for my Skar SDR 18. The sub is running off a Skar LP 750 wired to 1 ohm. The box is 4.6 cuft tuned to 32hz. I fit it all with the single rear seat removed. Still have to carpet the box and make a platform to secure it to the truck.

The sub is still breaking in, but it loves the 30-36hz range.

 

I really like Evergreen's tube bumper, so I'm looking forward to your creation.

 

I really, really like it too. I’ve stared at other tube bumpers for inspiration but his nailed it. As much as I don’t want to be a copy cat, I’m pretty much going to be a copy cat. Of course some angles and stuff will be different but the basis will be very similar.

 

Hood mounts for lights came in today. Hope to spend tomorrow putting them on.

 

Similar happened to me. Right before 60k when my truck was still under warranty (luckily) the actuator on my transfer cause took a shit and took the transfer case with it. Took them a week and a half total to figure out what I already told them when I first brought it in. My local dealer are dumbasses. They also thought a Prius was a comparable vehicle to my 6mt 4x4 truck for a loaner

 

bought detroitaxle steering rack and drivers side CV axle, ECGS clamshel and seal, Power steering line. uhhh. i think thats it.... Hope Detroit Axle is decent.

 

Good tip, I noticed my pads contact my rotors last time I was in there installing my spindle gussets. Was not aware that this was possible

 

Anybody try these headlights? Look nice, but I’m sure they’re cheap junk.

Probably the same as all the others. Look great but don’t perform very well and might leak.
