That's insane! Half tempted to buy them just to have them as a spare set.

What is this thread? I've never been here before.

So in all honesty the roof is kinda a pita. Between the shark fin and the ridges its not the best first wrap project. Put masking tape on the fin or remove it, stick the film the the ridges, the press it into the valleys starting in the middle and working your way to the front and back window. Keep a channel open for air to release. A wrap glove is your best friend on something like that.

Think of us as a sort of artist type community where you're free to express yourself.......no matter how strange you might be. You'll fit right in.

If it were me, I would remove the shark fin and only go as wide as the two channels. I'd remove that black moulding, wrap into that groove and stop, then put the moulding back. I think you could tuck it into the gap between the windshield and the roof, and in the back, I bet you could lift, then tuck it under the rear window moulding.

Like I said though, you're the pro, not me. Hey, speaking of........did you ever get your new wrap? Oh, I finally ordered some American flag decals for the side of the doors, I've been waiting for something different. These were and made me think of you, they used black camo for the vinyl.

For those looking for the Old Bay Sauce you might want to get it soon. Sounds like this may be the last chance for awhile.

You're too young to fall into this bad habit with those old fucks Andrew. :smack:

Hey, ultimately I need to get those lug nuts from Drew for the tires/wheels y'all dropped off. Yes, he forgot them.
I also want to hook up with Jim to see if he, or you can help with my tailgate power lock mod. I'm not the best with electrical mods. I also ordered some Tritium sights and Jim has the installation tools. He also has the programming tool for TPMS. I also need to wire in for my cap. I want to install my switch and wire in all my exterior lighting.

I'm thinking maybe to try to make a day of the whole thing. Throw some chicken & burgers on the grill, some corn on the cob, salads. You could come back over and drive my truck to see how you like the way it rides with the ST Maxx. Of course I could just shoot a video of that for you too.

How's your Dad's Trailduster coming along?

Looks fantastic Dave! It warms my heart to see it doesn't have to be filthy to be worthy.

I'm also glad to see that you wasted no time moving that license plate up so the bottom edge is even with the bottom of the jerry can carrier

I'm definitely down! Hard part is time at the moment. This weekend is my old man's birthday, and i've got an old friend in town. All next week I'm in NJ too. You free the 5th?
As for the Trailduster, we took the heads off and are cleaning those up, got the front end in for new spindles, and tried to rebuild the steering gear box, but lost 4 ball bearings... so now we are buying a new one haha

Yea.I am actually taking a couple days off during the 5th. Trying to get this all this truck shit done in time for the fall. One of those days off will be dedicated to getting those tires/wheels from Drew onto my nieces 4R, pulling the TPMS outta her OEM and then putting them into mine.

I just hope the weather cooperates............
