    Morning folks :hattip:

    Friday :bananadance:

We always go to PINS if we do the beach and haven't been disappointed. We've been there twice this year, just day trips so I would say it's close enough. Food wise depending what you're looking for, but we love
Surfside Sandwich shoppe that is right on the way to PINS. It's really a small place with little inside seating and outdoor patio, food is delicious. If you're looking for a little more upscale yet very casual, we go to The Blue Clove Bar and Grill that's in Corpus, but it's also pretty much on the way to PINS. And if you're looking for waterside outdoor patio place we hit Pier 99 next to the Lexington in Corpus. Their food is decent, was always our go to, but lately hasn't been what it used to be. Still nice place to sit outside. Hope that helps a bit.

Sorry forgot I was going to share the restaurants website links, just saw that pier 99 is still closed at this time, Blackbeard's is another restaurant that's decent, same area as Lexington just no outdoor seating. Here are the links

Surfside is so good, their cubano is good! My buddy use to be the head chef there, he would tell me to order the grilled cheese but make a concoction I've never had before. When he was head chef the food was even better, hard to believe. Costa sur right next door has some good ceviche. Been there?

No sure haven't, but might have to try it now

The wife and I are planning on going to PINS either Sunday or Monday this weekend for our 10 year anniversary, so might have to swing by and try it out

Congrats! Last I heard my buddy was the chef there, big guy we call jowebee. Black sheep bistro was good too, a but expensive though. Island pizzeria is always a good one, and JB bakery has authentic German desserts if you get a sweet tooth while down there. Ah I miss home.

A little something every chance we get.
It's Spectrum cable. But when they "updated and upgraded" our modem, it went to shit. We been here so long, we're actually a "Time Warner Legacy" customer, and they really waffle when they tell use if we get the latest shit and service or not. Been putting off a call....

Well, it's finally happened here in little old Lockhart. Effective Friday, masks must be worn in all businesses here. I have been anyway, but other than out feeble lockdown (it was more of a please stay home, but did close all the restaurants for a while), this is the first real evidence that our numbers have gone up more than just the Nursing homes. I hate it because it makes being older not a joke!

Austin and San Antonio surges really have me thinking hard about the July 11 C&C. I don't want to mess up the Great BBQ! I'm not discouraging anyone, and I still have not heard back about any special considerations that might be needed at Fiesta Texas. It's outdoors, and you can easily maintain distance. Just so dependent on others doing right.

So anyway, more work in the sun and heat to stay healthy! Dig out the rocks, clean the tank, maybe get to tilling up the new space for the pond!

I wouldn't be surprised that the July 11th CNC gets cancelled, especially if the restrictions of gatherings of 100 or more is still on place.

    Stay safe Kurt

Uh oh! Not Covid related, but this just in. I don't think the last gold fish will make it to the BBQ!

It's getting crazy, but honestly I am glad they have mandated masks. We were at home depot last weekend and some dude was walking around coughing his ass off with no mask. I think they are annoying, but are a good preventive/protective measure.
