Confirmed 8.845% right from the DOR spreadsheet I use to look up all sales tax rates.

Cool, so here's my math so far:
    • Purchase price (whatever I negotiate with dealer PLUS the 8.845% tax)
    • DMV - Specific Ownership Tax ($108 from estimator)
    • DMV - Registration Fees ($83 from estimator)
    • DMV - Fees for Leinholder on Title (If a lien is filed on the title, filing fees for the security agreement document will depend on the size and number of pages.)
    Anything else I'm missing?

Any recommendations for the best place to buy new front wheel hub assemblies for my 2nd gen 4x4?

this seems right to me as well. Are you transferring over to the 2gen? Or just new DD.

Letting go of my 2003 DCSB and moving over to a 2.5gen. I don't have to commute and I ride my bike or motorcycle around town, so it's not necessarily a DD. The Drifter will move over and it will be the new road trip vehicle.

Yep, my Drifter (#11) was originally installed on a 2nd gen. I kept the clamps for the bed rails and bought ones that would work with my 1st gen. The crew at Vagabond were smart with designing the size to fit all gens, although the 3rd needs a replacement piece riveted to the rear window to cover the stupid tailgate bump.

I'm getting closer and closer to getting a 2nd gen access cab to do the same thing with the GFC.

Except keeping the 1st gen to SAS.

Don't worry, I'm going to auction off all the stuff on the 2003, starting with the impossible to find BedRug (not Bedrug MAT, but the entire bed one).

I guess if I had a GFC or Anti-Sprinter camper I’d go that route. But my heart is 1st gen. I just like the compact size of it on the trails.

Inalso hate the compact size of it for loading this tiny f’n 5’ bed.

morning all. Little PSA for everyone. The oils from those little tree air fresheners do not play well with the plastic in your vehicles. We looked this up and apparently its pretty common. Make sure to remove the plastic as it instructs or have the tree free hanging. This is my wife's car, thankfully the one in my truck is free hanging.

If you're really in need you could borrow the one I keep in the truck. It is just a Pittsburgh/Harbor Freight truck tool.

Really should be a tool in your arsenal though. A full impact deep set.

License plate fee unless you are keeping your old plates. No emissions required for vehicles <7 years old which is nice.
