That's inaccurate. They're just not super easily attainable, depending on county.

Also inaccurate. Just depends on the county.

    Some really cool shit
Actually, you'd be surprised. CCW permits are issued by County Sheriffs. You just have to be living in the proper county. But it certainly is a PITA. Takes a year, or more, depending on the county.

Tape it in a ziploc bag to the bottom of your seat?

... works great until your seat gets stolen :anonymous:

Why are you carrying registration in TX? It's not required, and only advised if you have a recent title transfer. Insurance on phone is acceptable by law, solid DL in your wallet already.

I’ve thought about carrying while riding, but I read an article about how hard objects on your body can really cause damage if you go down and hit the pavement. I stopped carrying my Leatherman tool in my jacket after reading that.

When I think about where mine hangs in the shoulder holster, it would probably shatter some ribs on that side if I hit the ground hard enough.

Then again, it could also potentially save my life, too.

Yep, definitely don’t carry anything in my jacket pocket. Also why I don’t like carrying a backpack with a lot of stuff in it. I want to open carry while riding(don’t have a CCW) but I stop and go into a lot of stores with the grom.
