Why wouldn't you want gearlock in S mode?

I found it right now all I did was scroll down and I saw it at the bottom of the main page.

Gearlock was a huge part in finally deciding to order, which I did yesterday.
Thought it was always indicated the final 2.0 would include it... Hope it s not difficult to modifty 2.0 to include it. Was really hoping for a "plug and play" experience, no interest in modifying tunes myself.

Perhaps I missed it, but I definitely don't think it's been there the whole time. I'm almost positive I was scrolling through all of the OV website after I saw that link for the first time, simply wondering how it was found.

It will. If I had an AT, GL would be a deciding factor for me as that is how I drive ATs anyway.

As was noted, the current full version 2.0 release is just a taste. The final version will have what you are looking for.

Clearly I'm not the only one who found this confusing. I thought the final meant FINAL as in done - nothing more to be included. I didn't realize there was 2.0 final, and then 2.0 final w/ added features that is yet to be released

The 2.0 link has been at the bottom of the homepage since the 2.0 AT tunes were posted. The website does change often and some info is not directly linked, but it is all still there if you have the old links.

    Yep. Final means final.

So the 2.0 that is currently released is 2.0 Beta. Final is yet to be release. End of convo/

The current 2.0 is not a Beta. It is a "FINAL" version that will not be changed any further and always be an option for those that dont want/need other features. There will be other "Final" versions with different features set.

what I'm saying is, the first time I saw that link it was posted by a TW member and I could not find it from the OV web site unless I had the direct link.

for example, if you delete the last part of that url you end up with https://www.ovtuned.com/blogs/news/. That is a working link that takes you to an area of the OV Tune website that cannot be navigated to from the homepage, you need the direct url address.

I now understand that the current 2.0 is not the last version of 2.0 to be released, but it's very confusing (obviously I'm not the only one) when something is called "final". That usually insinuates there's nothing to follow. I'm glad to hear 2.0 with Gearlock will be released, eventually.

How many credit do we get if we do the dongle trade in? I saw a statement about this a while back but couldn't find info on it.
