I lived in Bozeman for 5 years! It was a cool place, but it started to grow too much for me. Lots to explore. I wish I would have spent more time down around hebgen and earthquake lake south of Ennis. The mountains there are beautiful.

Yeah I'd love to live in MT, or at least part of me thinks that. My brother and I went on motorbikes through ID, MT, WA and Montana was so damn beautiful it was just unbelievable. Though McCall, ID was a pretty darn nice little place to visit too. Spent a couple days there to relax and recoup.

@razhick4x4 This may seem a bit extreme but when I used to truck through the cold parts of the country, I'd keep a full set of serious cold weather gear (HD, very insulated), food for at least 48hrs (doesn't have to be fancy, just something to keep you alive), snow chains/ cables and a good quality light. Given I was in a semi so things are bit different but the point is still the same.

These are in addition to the usual stuff one would expect a 4x4 to have in it... tools, spares and recovery gear, hopefully some type of comms also.

Man I gotta get this truck of the garage, I am starting to lose it. Need to get out and explore!

They literally had to create a law for this in Colorado due to the multitude of dumbasses driving up a huge 12,000’ pass in winter...stuck across two lanes of traffic causing the 50,000 cars behind it to create a 5 mile back up.

It’s been hot for awhile. I’d have moved there in the early 2000s but am too addicted to the sunshine and mild winters of the Colorado front range.

I graduated from MSU bozeman a bit ago. I loved my time there and you likely will too. MT has so much to offer and it's a great school.

Nah, I just stuck to the fancy areas up in the mountains where those folks can't usually afford to go ;) Stanley, Sun Valley, McCall etc. Don't get me wrong... large sections of the state are kinda ugly yellow grass and lava rock... but there are some really beautiful places.

Taken from a balcony while drinking with my brother after a long day of riding (McCall, ID)

Also in Idaho, up in the mountains... obviously :)

It's also possible you're trolling me ;) - Either way shameless sharing of an awesome motorcycle trip! :)

Yep, thus the point of my last line of the post. I figured he was trolling "It's ugly, don't move here..." and now see I've trolled him back and shown everyone that they SHOULD move to ID

Yeah I have family there that complains about that often. But you can't blame them. They sell the place in Cali for stupid money and buy a sick spread up there... it's all the BS they bring with em that's the issue in my book lol :p

When I get in the gas a bit, say pulling onto the highway and getting to speed my truck is starting to stutter I guess is the best way to describe it, doesn’t do it all the time but seems to be getting worse.

I’m thinking plugs and wires along with a new air filter.
