2010 BAJA 1000 nov 18th...Who is going??

Anybody going from SoCal? I'll go down there wed morning. Race starts on Thursday Nov 18th 6:30 am

 

If anyone is going please post some pictures for us.

 

I'll be there as well. I'm going to be at contigency Wed morning.
Not sure where we will watch the race from. My truck is taking a rest for this race since my buddy recently bought a lifted tundra.

the dude who is building my truck is going down as a back up co-driver for a race team. i foget their name though...

 

Yeah I'll be there on wed as well. I might go to Ojos negros to check it out, don't know yet though.

Don't forget to pick up all of those stranded passengers from the cruise ship on your way back to the USA

 

I don't like these point A to point B races as much as when they loop back into Ensenada. It's cheaper to watch a looped race, not to mention you can see them a couple times at different locations.

Does anyone have a google maps overlay of the GPS coordinates?

hey guys it looks lke my girl and I will be heading to baja thursday morning @ 4am probably to ojos negros fo the race..... who is going lets all meet up I'll try and find you guys

I think we're probably going to watch the race a few miles into the desert through ojos negros. That's our plan so far but it might change, only time will tell.
We're camping out Wed night so it'll be hard to meet up.

Yeah we know the area pretty well actually. I've been going to each of the baja races for the past 4-5 years now without missing a single one. I also pre-ran on my quad once from Ojos to San Felipe. We're arriving at contigencia Wed probably around 10am maybe 11am. We'll be there until about 1pm when we'll be heading towards Ojos Negros so that we can enter the course there and follow the course until we find a spot we like for spectating... That's the current plan but with 10 of us going, we can certainly have different ideas of where to watch the race from.
