Clazzio leather seat covers!

My Clazzio covers were labeled as made in China.

 

Mine were custom and the FedEx tracking came out of Japan.

 

How are you guys installing the rear seat? I'd like to keep the hard plastic on top, any way to do that? The rear backs are solid pieces, I guess they go over the plastic but I thought I remember someone installing the plastic showing.

 

They go over the plastic.

 

You can take off the plastic, install the covers, then replace the plastic. You'll have to cut slits in the back of cover for the plastic to lock in. I struggled with reinstalling them. Haven't found time to finish it. Let me know if you figure out any tips to reinstall the plastic.

I was able to find one picture of the grey PVC in this thread but since no one posted the black yet, I am answering my own quote lol.

I echo what everyone has said, PITA to install, took me the better part of two afternoons ( I took my time with it), starting with all the headrests, then front seat backs then bottoms, and then the back seat backs, then bottoms. IMHO, these are WELL worth the money and the PVC material is more than adequate. I am glad I did not pay extra for the leather.

Anyone rocking black with red stitching?

 

Just ordered mine today. Originally thought I was getting them for Father’s Day but wife switched it up and got me a custom #1 dad Vikings jersey, so I can’t be mad at that haha.

Mine arrived last Tuesday and I put them in on Wednesday. Took a couple hours I think. Not too bad to install but the headrests definitely required some patience and squeezing and stretching. Lol. I’m glad I got the pro version, just the right amount of red stitch and matches the stitch in my redlinegoods boots perfectly. Most of the wrinkles from shipping have already smoothed out and I’ll wait another week or two and cinch down the straps and strings again.

With the thin padding in the clazzios I notice I’m sitting a little taller in the seat now. Does this settle down after some miles? Love them and the heaters get nice and toasty. Just in time for summer.

Hey just out of curiosity, do you know that little bungie thats kinda like a black rubber band for the bottom seat cover that you stick around where you buckle the seat belt for the front drivers seat? did the bottom seat cover for the passengers seat have that same little black bungie that you have to tuck under the seat? I had an extra S-hook but I had already finished installing the two front seat covers and I didnt want to remove the bottom seat cover on the front passengers seat only to find out if it had one or not and then have to put it back agian. My front drivers seat had the little black bungie that I stuck under the seat but I tried to feel around the seat cover for the front passengers seat and I couldnt feel the black bungie cord that goes tucked in under where the seat belt buckles anywhere (without removing the cover to find out) the cover will probably be fine without it but it probably makes it look better if its on (if it uses it).

Does the PVC feel cheap? From the pics it looks good.

 

I have the middle sections leather and the outer PVC. Doesn't feel "cheap," but that leather feels good.
