I used self tapping screws to attach the OEM 7 pin to a cross member. Yes, it plugs into each. Everything is reversible this way ... well except for the hole in the bumper ... lol... I didn't want to cut up the $400 factory wiring harness, and I didn't want the LED bar plug to be visible. If any issues arise I can revert back to the OEM 7 pin.

I have the Mobtown tailgate skin & love it still 4yrs later. I had the cap but I perferer the plastic cap & sold it 2yrs ago. I didn't like how it didn't cover entire cap nor the gap on top of tailgate & seeingvthe white adhesive tape. Now granted I need a new cap soon since most of the clips have broken off.

Ordered an Ultragauge Tuesday morning which ain't coming till Saturday, boooo.

But I put my RTT back on yesterday and had a nap under it at work.

Pictures of my truck tell me the rear windows need to be darker. Dang.

Yeah, it was a front window deal for like 48 bucks, got 20%. At first, outside seemed to match. Inside looking out, you could totally tell the difference.

My last truck was 20% on front 2 windows, 5% on rears and brow. Probably just do 20% on the rears when I can get a chance.

Something small but replaced the severely faded Pop and Lock that came with the truck with a new one. Makes the truck look less abused (which I don’t). Just need to keep putting protectant on it as these fade fast with the cheap plastic used.

If it does fade some Meguiars ultimate black will shine it back up. I used it on my entire truck bed with good results.

Yeah Meguiars is great stuff. I tried to use it on the old one and it still looked like it did. Definitely going to take care of this new one.

Replaced the clock spring today. Only issue I had was the cruise control not working. Person who had truck before me replaced the switch but that didn't fix it obviously.
I opted for the Napa part for $200 so I could return it if it didn't fix it. I could get the OEM parts for $130, but I figure if the OEM part failed anyway I'm better off with the aftermarket lol. Cruise is back and I'm ready for some road trips.

Is that a pop and lock? Do they hold up? I have one waiting to be installed because I want to be able to lock my tailgate but I heard they are flimsy

Yeah it’s the pop and lock. Not sure how long the previous owner had his on for but it never had issues for me and it’s been over a year. I believe pop and lock is best out of all of them considering the low available options.
