About a week ago, I got the Cooper AT3 4s tires mounted and yesterday, washed the truck. I went to put on tire shine, Poorboy's World Bold 'N Bright Tire Dressing Gel to be specific, and it seemed to just soak into the tires, leaving no shine. I put on another coat and same results. Rather than wasting more product, decided to leave it as-is.

Has anyone else ran into this issue with Cooper tires? I had the Hankook Dynapro AT-M's before and the tire shine went on just fine.

Love my 4S tires but I've never seen them hold a shine to be "wet" looking but they do hold the deep matte black look when I put some dressing on there. Give them a bit and they shouldn't "eat" it like that

That's good to know. Figured it has to do with it being brand new tires.
