Bought an SR5, should've got OR. Now I'm heavily considering putting in a rear locker as that is the only thing the OR has that I didn't get. 1900$ parts and labor, any thoughts? Fair? Go somewhere else?

    Got one of these today:

    upload_2020-6-25_17-20-3.jpg

Cheap and hopefully handy mod for storing the splined lug nut "key" so it's not rolling around in the rear storage compartment. There's a sleeve on one side that the lug wrench can be threaded through.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000COMXCM

Tire shop lost the socket when I had my wheels put on. Called SCS to get another one, and they said they recommend having two. One in the vehicle for emergencies and another in the toolbox where it's easy to get to for regular maintenance. Made sense, and since they're flat black, I hit them with some fluorescent spray paint to make them easier to find.

I want to do the same to mine but the pipe so close to the plastic transfer case actuator scares me to death

This popped up recommended on Amazon and I can’t for the life of me figure out what I would use it for. Doubt ice would survive long with the open top

Looks like it was meant to keep things like grocery bags from rolling around in the bed. There are cheaper ways to accomplish the same thing. $140 bucks is a lot for a molded plastic tub.

Consider regearing if you’re putting in a locker and if you haul some weight around

Are these the BAMF skids? If so, I'm installing mine early next week, any tips or anything? Also--did the front recovery hook/point stay or did it have to be removed? My understanding is I'll be removing 4 short crossmembers--2 up front and 2 in the mid.
