It’s not on the top of my list at the moment, in fact never really even entertained the idea.

This is the thread I have been using to keep track of my skids, feel free to pull everything together in here. If every thing gets located in one place, I plan to take the drive after July 4th.

I'm looking at old pics now to see if mine were welded.

 

Ok, these are shit pics but not welded. However, there is nearly zero gap on the ones I had. The skinny one bolts inside the other one so once they are bolted up they are not going anywhere.





Unless you really send it, and can claim to give new meaning to "off road" doing aerial stunts. *Note - look at the alignment of the IFS, and tranny skids. The Transfer case skid is still in tact. Sort of.
