Had my windshield replaced yesterday and now it has a whistle. The edge looks weird to me. The trim piece is sitting 1/4" high on the edges. Can someone look or take a pic of the edges of their windshield?

Perfect thanks. Looks the same. At least that's installed right. My 4runner is completely different. The damn whistle is sooo loud.

Here is mine for what it's worth. I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Mine doesn't whistle.

That edge trim has a C channel that sits on top of the glass. It just looks weird and after my new windshield was installed yesterday, it whistles loudly on the highway so I was wondering if they installed that edging wrong. It's not the issue though. My windshield broke Monday and was leaking water when it rained.

Its possible bead of glue was missed at the bottom seam and air is getting thru. Or the height of windshield isnt set right. Personally i've see both of these issues.

Do you know if they laid the new glue on the glass or on the body?

Yup. 2016 windshield replacement had a whistle due to missing sealer at the bottom of the glass. Glass installer tried to remediate the whistling issue by adding sealer to the bottom of the glass, but that did not correct the problem. Windshield was removed and resealed in order to permanently cure the noise issue.

They are coming back to remove and reseal. I tried everything I could to make sure it wasn't my ditch lights or a trim piece bunched up, but it no change.
