Correct me if I'm wrong but in looking at the 2.0 auto final release files you choose by ECU, tire size, fuel type, and gear ratio. Wouldn't this mean you would need to re-flash once you change fuel? And it appears there are no 'base' or 'performance' options any longer, simply the final tune...

Of course you can edit if you choose.

Just use bootcamp. That’s what I did for both TS and the tuning software

Exact same thing with my original OVT tune last year. Nice thread. I bailed from all the other tune threads. Not because they are bad or anything, just I have been so happy with 2.0FOB, 92, that I didn't see the need. I need someone to poke me when there is something better!

And you can download a copy of Windows 10 and just not register it for free. You won’t get all the latest updates but I think they do provide security updates. I downloaded a copy to run in a VM for something not truck related and never had to register it. You get nags every once in a while to register but it still works. Would think you could do the same for boot camp.

Not getting the updates is more of a perk. Then you dont need that fun new update that breaks every..

Thats exactly what i did with boot camp. Not activated and i disabled updates and AV in the registry.

You will need all three man. It is a bit expensive but worth it. I mean really worth it.

Might just have the dealer flash update on AT for me while I go in for service this weekend and then it’s time for VF!

Tonered or Ruggybuggy have links or instructions in their signature. You can use Techstream if you follow the instructions without paying a license fee as a demo.

To update your ECU for the TSB, you just need TS, the Tactrix / OVT adapter, and the software from the TSB (CUW file).
