The reinforcement points are on the underside of the frame from where the other mounting points are.

There are three points each side spaced out evenly. I'd be comfortable lifting it from how it's currently mounted if I needed to.

I'll say, I bought material and tried it on my own, and fucked it up. Having him do it cost barely more than the cost of what I fucked up. And he made it look retardedly easy

If its just the outer tie rod they are super simple to do. Remove tire, remove cotter pin, remove nut, either tap the spindle with a hammer or just beat the outer tie rod out, match mark inne rand outer joint, use two wrenches to break it from the inner and unscrew it while counting turns. Grab new one, screw in however many turns the old one is, put back in hole, tighten nut, install cotter pin. Not a bad idea to get an alignment after but the counting turn method will be "close enough"

ok, my 2 cents worth. 1st, weld on is much better. But, I had All Pro bolt ones, which basically gusset the entire frame length, which is good. Bad is that every year I would remove them and scale off the rust between them and the frame. Had to drill about 16 holes. Sucked. They were very strong tho, and many here can attest to my use of them to pivot my limo around rocks and trees, etc.
    If I do it again it’ll be weld ones. 8C1F33F2-613C-4307-8C35-3BDB2FCBCD11.jpg CAECABF1-AE04-4458-BA42-F7635C362345.jpg 8191D24E-3808-46EB-9BA8-9FE6E699D04A.jpg

    Oh man.

Heads up went to gallagher 2 days ago. Last half mile we had to stop and ended up walking up. Another group of 5 rigs were coming up as we were coming down they probably were commited to making it up up 3 having winches.

Remember my GF Devon? She has that Nordic Viking-woman-blood, she knows how to run a shovel.

Hopefully they broke the trail for us
