I was thinking the same, but wasn't quite sure and I had hope that someone had figure out a way to make it all fit.

That means the ARB twin compressor has to be mounted to either the passenger side or in the bed driver's side cubby.

correct. There was a guy on here who used to sell adapters for the slee 2nd gen mount to mount it like below. I’ve got one, but again, I’m certain he stopped selling them.

Slee bracket to put it up by the washer fluid resi is a good choice. I built a plate to mount the compressor in that dead space in the pax side back corner

I was gonna test taking the power off battery and putting it on one of the sp switch wires see what happens?

Thanks for the info. I think I will go with the Slee bracket method.

The slee vertical mount for the second gen WILL NOT work on the third gen unless you make a custom bracket like I have. The guy I got it from does not sell them any longer and I don’t know anyone else who does.

they have a mount for the passenger side but I have a battery there which is why I sent the route I did.

I saw that and will go the passenger side by the front windshield route.

Let’s say- hypothetically- you had the brain of a kindergartener when it came to wiring but you had an ARB dual compressor, two light bars, ARB locker, a winch and one of these switch pros you needed wired. Where would you go to get this done cleanly? I can mount everything, just the wiring part is a challenge

If you are running a powertray setup with your switchpro, the wiring is super easy because of the bus bar for the ground. Even if you aren't, it is still pretty simple since there's no relays that you need to wire up yourself. No fuses are needed either since the switchpro is internally protected and the ARB harness has its own fuses already installed.

compressor: big wires go to the battery, then the trigger wire(s) in the diagram that is in the ARB instructions just connects to a switchpro output. Its just the trigger, so it doesn't need one of the big amp outputs.

locker: basically just one extra wire on the compressor harness to attach to a switchpro output to control the air going to the locker. Again, just needs a small input, so doesn't need a 35A spot. The plumbing from the air manifold to the diff housing will be the more labor intensive part because the wiring harness is already installed for the compressor to even function.

light bars: mount where desired, connect the hot wire to switchpro outputs, and the ground wires to the bus bar, battery or a chassis bolt somewhere close to the light bar.

Winch: just runs to the hot and the ground terminal of the battery, switchpro shouldn't be involved here. If you can do the light bars above, the winch is darn near the same thing.

Take your time, follow the instructions, youtube anything you don't understand since it is a great resource and lots of people posting videos on those items for tacomas. This whole thread is made to help trouble shoot as well. Give it a shot. I promise it isn't hard, its just a little intimidating at the start. You got this.

How does the switch pro work with fog lights? Do they still work with the oem switch or only from the swirch pro. Also if I have rock lights utilizing the cargo light switch can they be used on the switch pro? Does the switch pro get overriden and vice versa. Hope that makes sense

Looking at terminal circuit bus bar stuff. Blue Sea makes an 8 circuit 30A and an 8 circuit 65A. From the switch pros white papers it says there’s 4 20A and 4 35A circuits. Since the only high amp draw component I’ll have is the ARB dual compressor (highest draw light I have is 12A) would I need the 65A bus bar (3x as expensive plus 2 weeks shipping vs next day for the 30A)?

Also the ARB twin current draw is 58A so I’m just going to have to wire it’s power directly to the battery and the (?) trigger / on / off switch though the switch pros - is that how you guys are doing it with the compressor? Also I have arb lockers.

arb twin has internal relays. The purple wire on the harness is your positive trigger wire. That’s what you would hook up to the SP.

otherwise, yes, you wire the main power and negative harness directly to the battery.

Why are you adding a bus bar?

Mainly to keep things nice and tidy, plus having my relocated battery, the wires for my front lights wouldn’t be long enough (the switch panel harness isn’t even long enough) so rather than have a bunch of solder joints at random locations on the truck I’d prefer to run my own wiring from my components to one spot. If I ever have to mess with the connector it’ll be nice to have everything in one place on my removable panel I’m building, too.

Thanks for the encouragement! If I end up trying this solo and get stuck, I will probably message you if that's alright.

Have you made further progress yet? I like the placement here...or even below the A/C controls.
