Curious what radiator you are running. I have a champion radiator sitting in the garage but I'm reluctant to install it with all the problems people have been having with them.

Koyo Radiator - VH010665N really pleased with it... though it has only run about 30 mins so far haha. build quality is top notch though :)

I got the idea to run one from @STLharry as he has one for his diesel and it seems to work really well for him

Yep it's a Koyo Radiator - VH010665N I believe it has clearance issues on early gen hoods though, just FYI

Nice! Bet you are glad to be on the other side of all that work man. Now the fun part... putting it all back together

I'd like to see the color if nothing else, when you get time and things settle a bit. I know with my son it took like 24 hours to kind of even out.

well that's another thing to the change list i guess. i'll need to change the stud too because it's swooped back and the antenna comes off at an angle. for now i'll be fine with no antenna i think. like i said, i hardly use the actual radio. i'm still gonna call the stealership tomorrow though and see how much they want to rip me off for it.

Hell yeah. Really wanting to get together with some of the more local folks on a semi regular basis. Happy to chat and BS / answer questions anytime. Lots of details in the build thread also... though have a bunch that needs caught up on, just busy actually building it :D

yeah, my experience is that I got maybe 7k miles out of it before it started to leak.
Mine is my garage with the shroud that will fit the champion rad.

Here's the antenna I have for that same reason. I never listen to the radio, so I couldn't tell you how well it works. I mainly just bought it so I wouldn't have an empty antenna hole.

I have the OEM antenna and I use it for a feeler gauge for parking structures as it is the tallest item on my truck

for 11 bucks i think i'll order it hard to go wrong for that cheap and it'll look a bit cleaner than just an empty stud.
sounds about right haha. my CB antenna serves that purpose for me

gave the Ditch lights a little test tonight, very happy with how they turned out. i was originally going to go for a drive but i screwed my ankle up earlier today carrying some stuff down the stairs at my house:mad::facepalm: so that was out. i gave it a little test in the driveway and here's the results:
everything on (bumpers, headlights, and ditch lights)
    upload_2020-6-25_22-25-27.jpg

    Passenger side without antenna:
    upload_2020-6-25_22-25-57.jpg
and with. look at the branches of the spruce tree in the right side of the photo:
    upload_2020-6-25_22-26-49.jpg

the antenna hardly interferes at all. you can see a tiny difference in the photos but in person it really isn't noticeable. still leaving it off as it physically touches the light and just looks shitty and hackish, but a new stud is definitely in my future if the dealership doesn't want too much for it. that way the antenna will just stick straight up, and therefore won't touch the light. for now though, the stubby antenna that @austinmtb suggested will work great. i just ordered it.

Now i just gotta finish up the canopy, still waiting on the parts:annoyed:. if they can't get them by the end of July i'll get them to refund my money, put my old windows back in, and deal with it for another year. ordering the replacement windoors has been a massive PITA. should be worth it in the end, but i haven't been happy with the customer service at all.

Got one spindle gusset welded on tonight. Super fun to get to weld again. Little rusty but came out good enough.

Thanks, I'm hoping it will look a bit different today. I'll get a picture once it gets back together. However, here is the bed, after it was sprayed.

Had this start for me over the weekend getting up to speed on the freeway to go camping. Happened in 4th then went away in 5th, no codes, and didnt come back.

Then today omw to work does it in 4th, no codes, bucks all weird and goes away in 5th. Omw home finally throws the codes when it does it yet again during the bucking. Got to be plugs and wires in my case, but wanted to let u know may take some time for the codes to show. Fwiw my cel flashed during the bucking, then went away.
