Nothing planned, but I do want to get out as much as I can. Have gotten lots of my summer list done already, so.....:anonymous:

I'm working with a company to outline some trails to build on the property, then will build a couple camping platforms in two different areas I like, so next year I'll have some space for you guys! Going to do one on mountain top, and I think one on the riverfront.

I appreciate the offer! Still in the early stages, they are coming next week for a site visit and go over what I’m trying to accomplish, then they will put together some trail designs, come back and mark them.
Then I start cutting and digging I suppose! With the way things are going I don’t see camping platforms until fall or even next spring.

I'll let you know as it develops :thumbsup:

Just met with a landscaper about adding some trees so I don't have to water so much over at the business. Going to do a mix, probably some maples, beech and oak. Maybe an elm or two. Most likely adding about 9 trees I think.....well we will see how the quote comes in :spending:

And I won't actually get any benefits for like 10 years...but gotta start somewhere :anonymous:

We got a lot of surprise rain last night!!! Probably a quarter inch or more, from the puddles in my truck bed it seems like more than the rain storm the other day. So excited about that! And a lot more rain tomorrow too!!!

Walking the dogs this morning was very nice. Cool air, sunshine and the birds a-chirpin':thumbsup:

I think it was super isolated. We had some storms pass over us around 8-9, and then at some point overnight it looks like a small spot just stayed over our house. I wouldn't be surprised if my brother a couple miles down the road didn't get anything.

I used to deliver food all over that area up until 2002 . Schools , restaurants, nursing homes ,hospitals. Usually started in Great Barrington and ended up as far as Williamstown or Peru and Bennington . That was my Tuesday,Thursday area . Pennsylvania on Mondays ,Connecticut on Fridays . Wednesday I ran Rt 22 from Hillsdale all the way up to Granville Ny.

I'd be willing to bet you know the area better than I do then, and I grew up here! Only directions I usually know are "go a while until you see the big tree and take a left, then you'll find a stop sign in a bit and go right"

Probably know the name of 15 streets max in Williamstown which is where I grew up

don’t know how accurate this I-phone weather forecast actually is- but hopefully will amount to some good rain!

    It's the only way!

Yes I am seeing a great rain week next week as well. Getting pumped!

@lynyrd3 its coming along. Finish the framing Sunday and then pour Monday afternoon. They work when there is free time because my MIL's brother is doing the foundation as a gift to her, so he's squeezing her in the schedule as it fits. Works for us though and we don't have the full building permit yet anyways, just one for the foundation.
