could my symptoms be caused by cleaning those two things? Because I had no issues and then I did spray the mass airflow sensor out as well as clean my air filter

The flashing indicates a miss fire. If your boosted this can happen a lot during higher gear low rpm. Makes the motor ping.

If you're not boosted then yeah your plugs wires it even coil packs are the problem.

Ngks are okay. Have those on Frank. Put new OEM ones on Igor. Can't say one is better than the other.

Then just get new plugs. I think your packs are fine likely as that would throw a code. You could replace the lower rubber on the packs though.

It looks like you have your coils cranked down a lot. As in lot of preload. There is a lot of empty space above the coil.

But fox uses 13" coils not 14" so the gap ga naturally bigger.

You don't need to change anything. Unless you want a long coil. But I wouldn't do that unless the current coils have worn out.

Smart score, hombre. If one is serious about doing ALL of their maintenance, whether to save thousands or you truly enjoy it(like most of us, the savings is an awesome byproduct:D), then a hundred bucks on true Toyota FSM is an extremely wise purchase

Is this a manual and the front sensor? You can access it from the shifter.

Even then it’s a PITA. If Toyota had it about 1” Further back it’d be easy peasy. But as it is I was in near tears trying to disconnect and connect it. With the edge of the shifter cutout digging into the top of my hand.

Best purchase I've made for the taco. It'd be nice to have a searchable PDF, but I way prefer a hard copy.

ok, I need y'all's advice here. for the past month now i've been trying to get some new Windoors for my canopy and have had nothing but trouble with the dealer. I just spoke to another dealer about 3 hours away from me to come up with a backup if nothing changes with this dealer and found out that the company who makes my canopy and any replacement parts, Range Rider, won't ship glass over the border unless it's in an assembled canopy due to the liability and fragility of glass. The dealer that i've been working with still maintains that they'll be in next week (i've spoken to the same guy each time and he still gives me the same asnwer every week) but i'm becoming more skeptical by the day. if i were to get the 1000 dollars back from the parts that i ordered, i've got enough other savings to order a whole new canopy from a different dealer. I've talked to a dealer in Bozeman MT and they can take my old canopy in on trade which, put together with the money i'd get back from the parts refund makes a new one seem almost within reach. basically meaning that I could order my new one and use the old one as is until it comes what do y'all think?

    Interesting...

Any online reviews of the possibly shady dealer? Google, FB, Yelp or BBB perhaps? See if anyone else has had a similar experience. I think at the end of the day you need to ask yourself if you could have it either way, which way would you really prefer? Meaning do want a new canopy or are you really keen on yours and would much prefer to fix it instead? Then work your way in that direction, because I believe both are possible honestly. Where there's a will, there will be a way man
