Accelerator pedal position error. The ECM's CPUs aren't jiving.

 

Accelerator pedal or throttle position. There are two CPU's that monitor the feed back of each. If one CPU is getting a reading back that is 0.3v or more different than the other CPU, it throws the 606 code.

 

That could've very well been it. Clear it, when you can and see if it comes back.

True. But I still wouldn't be working today...AutoCAD is freaking out at the moment and I can't really do much of anything. Thankfully my internet connection is still functioning!

 

Lots of things. I work for a SIP manufacturer and have worked on houses of all sizes, commercial buildings, etc. I've got stuff all over the western US, China and Australia too!
On a good day my work looks like the attached image...on a bad day, like today, its that plus the dreaded 'FATAL ERROR' warning. I'm up to 6 in a row so far today

Definitely not easy, I know I only use about 20% of the functions that this program has for my current job. I'd be lost if I had to work somewhere else because of that.

A helpful place to hang out in is http://augi.com/home/default.asp . There's a forum there with lots of information and helpful people. I attended one of their seminars - CAD Camp - last year and it was pretty interesting. Nothing hands on but they go over all of the new features of the software, sort of a refresher course for those of us that have been out of school for awhile.
