Would you get an alignment if you swapped wheels and tires but it’s not pulling? Did 2” lift too

    wheels and tires? No

    Lift? Yes.

Even a few degrees off can cause pre-mature tire wear that you may not always be aware of just by feel and pull.

I put coilovers on one of my old vehicles, looked and drove fine. Got my before alignment readings and all wheels were good but my right rear was 100% fucked. Like -3 degrees of camber, toe out 1/4 inch, just all sorts of weird stuff. Didn't notice it, but the combo of the two would have really scrubbed the inside shoulder of that tire, wearing it out in a spot I would likely never see/look at.

Ok, I’m at pep boys now. Not sure if I’m getting any of their extended warranties. Any one ever need multiple alignments for any reason?

I'm not sure what adjustability you have in your suspension, but make sure they don't just adjust your toe settings and tell you you're good. I'd check camber and caster too even if you don't have the components to adjust, you'll have an idea of what you need.

IMO the lifetime stuff is pointless with those shops. 9/10 they put it on the rack, throw a wrench behind the wheel and adjust the toe to an OEM "RANGE" and once that screen goes green for that wheel they call it good and move on. Not the greatest alignment but I'm also really anal with stuff like that lol

If any suspension parts other than shocks are changed, I would definitely have the front end checked. Tires are too expensive to risk that.

I didn't do UCA's, just bilstein 5100, OME 887, Icon AAL. I really won't know what Pepboys is going to do...I'm sure they'll give me printout of some sort. Honestly, prior to this...I've only done like one other alignment in 30 years of driving
Only reason i'm considering an alignment warranty is if I put new tires on in a couple years or if I hit a pothole

It's good peace of mind if the price isn't much more it couldn't hurt! Like I said, I'm just waaaay more anal than most...like to a point its no longer practical lol.

Your alignment is only as good as it is when it leaves the shop. Adding a warranty doesn't make it any better. It is just a way for them to get you to come back. Personally I am no fan of alignment warranties. They usually do it correctly the first time then when you bring it back, it is never adjusted because you are not paying for it.

there are plenty of ways you could throw your alignment out of whack. Even settling of coils over the next year will change the alignments. I paid for the 3 year warranty so I'm covered through then.
However I did just drive it about 15 minutes and the TPMS in not resetting. I guess they disconnected the battery but it usually on takes about a couple minutes or miles to get the reset. I guess I have to go on a longer drive to get it to reset

Depending on how hard you go off-road, an alignment might be needed after each wheeling trip. The cam bolts can be knocked out of position from the forces rocks exert on the tires.
