So im in the shop and getting some new wheels put in. Going down from my stock 17inch trd sport to 16inch method wheels. Anyone have done this before?
Iam assuming will lose a bit on mpg or noise, handling?

Why go down to a 16? You have many more tire options in 17.

Funny, i was wondering about putting 15” on my OR. Tires are cheaper and you get more flex out of the tire.

Will 15's clear the calipers? The oem 16's look like they could touch any second lol

I never got past kicking the thought around, but I’m sure you’re right.

I have read on here that no 15” rim will clear the front disc brake caliper.

I’m skeptical that a 1” difference in rim diameter is going to make a noticeable difference in fuel economy or noise. I think the 17” rims on the sport are mostly for aesthetics. Differences in the tires might change things though, but specially if you are going to e-load high rolling resistance tire
