Yeah way to high for lightweight items ... most of which could probably be sent 1st Class for a few dollars.

I rerouted my courtesy light wiring that was on the bottom of the crossmember because I didn’t take time to do it right the first time.
On a positive, I got to use the creeper the kids gave me for Father’s Day.

I didn't think I'd get to it but I sound-deadened and insulated the rear wall of the truck.

Now everything is done except the floor.

If you live in a hot climate do this ASAP. Night and day difference. My wife and kids noticed it immediately. 36 square feet did all four doors and the rear wall (I did the roof like two years ago).

Thank you Tacomaworld for the write ups and thanks @boogie3478 for the link to the NOICO.

The uninstall was easy. It definitely helps to have a 2nd set of hands help guide the bolt out and back in with the new UCAs. In my case, getting the new UCA back into the spindle was the toughest part b/c the uniball was tough to move in the UCA until I used a small prybar that fit perfectly in the sloit to give me the leverage.

Working on the skid as I type this. Letting it cool down a little after welding some, so I don’t pump too much heat into it.

Gained 16° angle by raising it up the 4”. All I did was cut off the front, and remake it but 2” longer (and out of 1/4”). Made a huge difference.

I finally wrapped up my Expedition Essentials 2TPAM for my second gen. The install was a bit more challenging then I thought it would be, but it is a solid object. I was excited to take a photo of it with my phone and radio, when I realized my phone was my camera! Quick run back to the house and got this. 20200625_105120.jpg
The people at Expedition Essentials were great to work with and I would recommend them.

Beware, I told my wife about wanting a new Android head unit now, and her reply was, "Why? You phone is mounted in clear sight. Why would you need ANOTHER map?". My wife is way to smart for my own good.

Soldering in progress. Let’s see if this involves profanity or not. 50/50 odds.

Easy work and much better than butt connectors. I really enjoy electrical work because i try to make it oem looking as possible w loom and tesa tape.

The cursing starts when things don’t go to plan. Been soldering harnesses since Pope taught me in my teens.

Right now I’m trying to figure out where in the dash I can stuff this amp. It’s small enough, just got to find it a home.

Pretty much. I just redid the front portion. So I bolted the lower part onto the truck, held the new one in place and tacked it up. Then got it onto the workbench for welding
