Have you checked on replacement parts for this? Ive been on the fence for a very long time on this just for the simple fact that if I break a part, I dont want to wait 3-4 weeks for a new one to be printed. I know its a pretty low speed vehicle due to the rock crawling nature of it, but if I get one, I want it to go at least a decent speed and speed usually equals broken control arms.

When I did RC back in the 90s, parts were plentiful. I started up again with my son and it seems like every car that I get is discontinued within 6 months and parts dry up.

Mine in mostly a working model but next one will be for crawling. I wasn't too worried about it since there are so many people with 3d scanners and printers. If a piece breaks as long as I have all the pieces, I could have a new one made.

If the files were freely available and I could think of any OTHER reason to have a 3D printer, I would definitely make my own!

“But honey, since we needed the printer for making widgets, I’m just practicing!”

    Good job on your project.

I don't have the printer/scanner... If I want one, is there a way to get one from you so I can assemble it (or it comes as assembled) and I put it on the shelf for display? If I want it as same as the way my actual truck is, let me know if you want the photos and I can send them.

This thing is AMAZING! You've done such an awesome job on this build; now i want to get back into it and do this. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see what it'll look like with the new fenders.

Now I don’t feel so crazy thank you . Yours is definitely more scale then mine though . Good job man .. I want to do a 3rd gen build now lol . I think my third gen is too modded to hit perfect scale though .
