Wear what you want, but know you are wrong. (despite your jk....) armor panels are a thing.

Speaking of armor, I got super excited earlier this week, then massively dissapointed. Klim came out with an airbag vest w/ In&Motion or something box integrated, which I guess is the same as the A* tech air 5 system for $399. Clicked on it with the intent to order until I realized you either had to lease the whatever box for another $20/mo or buy it outright for another $399.

A $400 airbag is actually $800. Lame. Didn't buy. I need those to come down another few hundred bucks... :annoyed:

Interesting observation. I have actually felt a lot better out here in CO with the lack of traffic on the roads the last few months. I barely rode my bike last spring because riding in traffic here tends to be more stress than pleasure. Stop and go. Shit drivers. No signals. General douchbaggery.

It has been a smooth sailing here since march. I have had a lot more space and therefore time to escape from bad situations with the reduced amount of traffic. It has been noticeably more congested this past week as folks are coming back to work, and I am a lot more on edge than I was...but generally speaking i have felt less at risk than I recall feeling last year at this time.

It is a 2019. It’s a very fun bike that can do a little of everything that I want it to do. Though, the seat is crap and I wish the gas tank was a little bigger.

    ride safe everyone!!!

with or without leather/armor.... just stay alert and assume everyone is out to kill you.

on my ride home today I had some real dumb ass D bag run a red light on me, luckily I was only doing my typical 35mph and just coasting "lol with the clutch in obviously :boink:" assuming the light might turn on me as I always get the red at this intersection, but nope I sure had a green and that prick sure ran the red...

it really was a road rage moment for me though, I wanted to chase the guy and flip out, but I ignored it and kept on my path and picked up my beer and on my way home I went..

the problem/story here was that before the ignorant dumb ass ran the red, there was a landscape truck in front of him that made a legal right on red, as I was rolling down the hill I had seen the truck stick itself out so I let off the throttle as I typically do when someone pulls out in front of me... The truck had a trailer in tow so I decided to apply some brakes, contrary to popular beliefs engine braking alone was not enough for me at this time... So basically all that goes down, now I am roughly 100-200 feet away from the intersection, and BAM there goes the shit eating d bag crossing the 4 way intersection right in front of me...

for sure I could see and taste that tragic moment that takes a handful of riders every year flash before my eyes if only for a second...

we all ride different bikes, we all ride different terrain, some of us without leather some of us with leather...
pretty sure we all wanna make it home to ride another day regardless of our differences though...
hopefully things start improving sooner than later...:bikewheelie2:

Had some ass wipe pull out in front of me on a 2 lane in to the lane I was in. Luckily I was alert so I swapped in to the other lane and flipped him off as I continued at speed past him and turned around to continue flipping him off

Glad you’re ok, and thumbs up on a very relevant and important post. Never let your guard down and expect everyone in a car to do something stupid and dangerous... because they will.
It’s our job and responsibility to be prepared for those moments the best we can.

I know, it’s half peeled until I realized I didn’t have any goo gone left. That and clean all the torqued markings off the bolts.

At the risk of another uprising....

Why 2 into 1 exhaust?? I dig the look of 2 into 2 on the sporty....but there's a lot of 2 into 1 options and stuff. Hmmmmmm.....what say the peanut gallery? :crapstorm:

It’s supposed to be better performance wise because of the back pressure or some shit.
