He didn't deliver it. Got a notification that said "we missed you".

I left a note on the door to please sign and put it in the back of my Jeep. I even digitally signed on the ups app. So now they are saying monday.
Why not tomorrow?

Fed ex and ups both leave stuff on my porch that requires a signature. For some reason, this guy did not.

Probably a woman. I had one park at the end of my drive, in the street once. She came to the door and knocked. When I answered, she had me sign.

I looked around and there's no guitar box. Like wtf.
So she says it's out in the truck and she was just making sure I was there. Then asked me if I could come get it.

 

And she weren't no small gal either!!

Buddy of mine here at work is an accomplished banjo picker. Plays alot of celtic?and Irish folk stuff.

 

I would be remiss if I dinnit at least learn dueling banjos a la Deliverance

 

UPS is hands down the absolute worst delivery service. I will never ship anything with them ever

That banjo kid lives just south of me in GA. Billy Redden.
Alot of the places where they rafted is where I trout fish on the chatooga river and tallulah gorge. And lake Jocassee cemetery Baptist church which is about 150 ft under water after they flooded it.
You can see the dam they are building in the movie in some scenes.
Jocassee is about 30 mins from the house.

Fun fact. The kid never played the banjo in the movie. There was a musician behind him sticking his arm through billy's sleeves playing.

 

150' is on the deep end of the PADI scale...but does anyone dive on the church?

Yea, I been up your way to walleye and Pike fish a time or 2. Probably north of you in Thunder Bay Ont.

 

It's 300 at its deepest. We have huge lake trout come out of it. It's my wheeling stomping grounds.

Yup, a lil north. Walleye are awesome on the St. Clair River here, but move north to the deeper lakes about now

You can wheel both sides of the lake.
East side is horsepasture rd. West side is musterground rd and Bad creek.(other side of the lake).

 

Ok, got my MRI back. All good, little bit of arthritis and swollen muscle. No tears. Arm/shoulder been feeling lots better, almost full feeling in my thumb and nose picking finger. Looks like I sprained the shit out of it. Got some practice in, i could actually feel the pick and didn't drop it once! Felt good! Still on light duty, which sucks azz!

For fuks sake I also have my release sig electronically filed with ups and fed ex...delivery location and everything...

They drop shit on my porch all the time.

Just went thru this with dhl.
International delivery, sig required, stayed home 2 days in a row waiting and just no show, no notification.
Finally had to get the shipper to light a fire under dhl, "out for delivery" means out for delivery beotches!!!!

Also, he was none too happy that dhl handed the ball off to a sub contractor when he paid for to my front door!

Thats how shit disappears.
Semi hot chick delivered in her personal vehicle so I wasnt too upset when it FINALLY showed up.

No option to go grab it tomorrow from local ups headquarters that is holding it?
