The tailgate power lock is pretty easy. IIRC the the annoying part is routing the harness through the factory grommet on the tailgate.
Everything else is pretty straight forwaed.

 

I had that same honda 50. I also had a 1969 honda QA50 and a mid 70's Kawasaki kv75, a 76 Kawasaki ke175 enduro and a 79 Yamaha DT400 among a couple others. Man I wish I had'em today. As a kid I use to run the back alleys of Canton, Highlandtown & Fells Point with them.

 

Free 2nd gen cap- no idea what might be wrong with it though.

 

Dang, going to have to open a Facebook account so I can keep better eyes on the marketplace front. Seems to have a lot more goodies than Craigslist.

I have a 20 OR and some far I love it, well most of it. I have I didn’t get any bells or whistles with mine, just the off-road with push button start, tonneau cover, power rear sliding window and exhaust tip. I should have waited to find one with the tech package and the led lights. Mine has the DRL LEDs but not the 3/4 wrap LED. I’m planning on the Ironman Foam cell pro lift, SPC UCAs, 17” DCR BR6 wheels with -10 offset, 285/75s, replace needle bearing and a cab mount chop.
I think it drives great, decent on gas mileage, though I bought a truck that I’m gonna lift so it too concerned about mpgs.
I’ve added heated seats, led interior lights, ditch lights, light bar and steps. Also changed the bed decal, Meso start button, a/c drain line mod and put H9 bulbs in my headlights. Handling and power seem good though some people have upgraded the gears and/or use a 3rd party program to reprogram the ECU for better shifting and performance.
The only thing I don’t like, is the brakes and I’m gonna have the dealer look at them at some point. It seems like when I’ve driven for a while, the brakes will kind of pulse or going over a rough road while braking. I’ve heard there is an extra pump or something on the ORs and Pro so it could be that as well. If you have a specific question; I’m happy to answer. I’ve not been off roading yet and have not been driving as much during covid.

 

I've had a 2016 4cyl base model, bare bones, and I beat the shit out of that. It was a work vehicle and it was idling for hours and hours on end, used it to power a lighting scene for a movie (1000w power inverter), took it offroading in order to avoid an accident and hit the median going about 50mph. Everything checked out when i took it to the shop, and that was why I bought my 2017 OR. As for the 2017 model, I love it. Kinda wish i had the long bed but short bed is fine for me. Transmission got much much better after driving it for a while, but i recently reset my ECU while troubleshooting some shit and now the trans shifts funky again. Seats kinda get a little uncomfortable but the 2020s are much better with the power seats or you can use spacers under the seat mounts. Overall, I loved the 2016, and absolutely love my 2017. Make sure you clean your throttle body often and it'll take care of you.

 

I’m looking at a similar truck to yours just the basic trd off-road no bells and whistles. I don’t want the leather and sunroof. This is going to be my personal truck/work truck.
