I placed an Aero order (and a local fab shop order) almost a month ago. No shipping confirmation on either of them yet :(

    From Aero directly?

Most stuff on their website has been OOS since I started shopping about a month ago, maybe 5 weeks. LGS is a dealer and had my lower in 2 weeks. I’d probably try a local dealer if you have one, hopefully will be faster.

Yeah from Aero, there were a few things that were oos but i waited for them to get back "in stock" per their website. Totally possible they took too many orders and the website didnt update fast enough and i got shoved into the back ordered bunch.

just checked their website (since ive been in the forest for the past week) and it still says processing. Oh well, rifle wont be done until i buy glass anyways so its not a big deal.

    What did you order?

I have a few Aero parts together and so far I’m exceedingly pleased. Looking forward to building it.

Epsilon brake, few spare screws/bolts/mag releases/Tshirts/ect

The brake to finish the AR10 (sans glass) and some random bits for the toolbox really

I've never fired an AR-10. I wonder if it will be as heavy as my M1A Squad Scout.

    Depending on the AR, yes.

20" barrel with a full 20rd magazine, full size scope and bipod, probably not.
16" barrel, carbine stock/buffer tube, light rail and a slim red dot (or irons), yeah.

Next time we're out ill be sure to bring it.

First build is complete! Picked up the lower today. Still waiting on a VFG and haven’t changed muzzle device.

nice. i have a 16 that i run with a taller 503cu. I like that more so i can hold it more perpendicular to my chest (vs across my chest). the outcome is that i don't have to tilt my head to see through the sight as much and mess w/ my peripheral vision.

when i hold it across my chest, my left shoulder rises up and i lose peripheral vision. With my head tilted, my eyelid is blocking my right side view.

Finally picked up the Henry .22LR today. Thinking about mounting a red dot or small scope on it for extra fun.

Glass for an AR-10? Perhaps a Red Dot of some type? Anything else is window dressing. This is a battle rifle.
