    Oh here we go again! Just get a grom. Then you only have 1 into 1 to deal with.

    I personally think it looks wayyyy better. Less is always more for me.... when it comes to exhausts.

    and yes there is some “science” about back pressure and higher torque.

    but remember. Your bike is your OWN. Customize it the way you want.

    Exhaust pulses. It’s not one constant plume of exhaust coming out, it comes in pressure waves of high and low pressure. The exhaust from 1 cylinder creates a low pressure pulse behind it as it exits that helps suck out the exhaust from the other cylinder, which then helps evacuate it further and helps it suck in more air.

    Edit: It gets crazier with more cylinders. I want a tri-y 4-2-1 exhaust for my CB750, the exhaust with jetting is said to greatttttly increase HP.

    Edit 2: Some has to do with harmonics on the exhaust too, pulses will reflect back down the pipe. Longer exhausts = better scavenging at a lower frequency harmonic = better low end. Shorter exhausts move coming on the pipe up higher in the rpm range.

    Sorry, I like exhausts haha

    What?! I think it rained for a little here, but back to high humidity and sun. I still want to go.
    We were going to leave around 10, and expecting 1.5-2hours to get there.

    Looks like it stopped but might rain later. I’m still down to go, getting ready now and planning to leave around 9:30-10.

    @loosnut you coming?

    This.

    Backpressure is not a thing you want. Its all about matching exhaust pulses for better scavenging as ^ said
