You got 2 Tacomas. The frame in the garage and the roller in storage

 

I have the engine, I scored a tc trans for free a while back... the engine needs rebuild, the trans whines in 1st gear... (they all do... no idea why the hell they replaced it under warranty)

I'm torn on all motor n/a build of the engine or..... Boost...

 

the frame in the garage is for the green truck. I seriously hope to have the frame "done" by fall. as in rolling and ready to pop the engine and trans on... then wait on the body work to get done.

There's a 1stbgen runner here for 1600, and I'm considering it. I dunno with those. The 3.0 is horrendous, but fixed up I bet they sell okay even if that engine is worse than a ford ecotec with two dead cyls

 

hoarding? maybe. but the old frame will be waiting on a body. (unless this red truck owner actually does sell me his truck..)

if i have a body, i have enough spare parts to have a complete running and driving 4x4 tacoma. if its a 98 or older i even have the engine harness and computer to have all that work as it should and be emissions legal. (hence the desire for Miguel's frame and tour's cab...)

Used to drive from IL to IN just to hang out with an old friend every other weekend when I lived out there. Chicago specifically, made you leave town just to hang out with decent people lol

I have a lot of random shit. Hell I have spare 3.5 plenums for experimenting with porting. (And removing the injector hump in the air stream)

 

And a supercharger in a box
