Okay guys, on my 2008 tacoma, reg cab, i got this floor vent on the driver side, right above the brake pedal. every time i wear my work boots or any shoe for that matter, i always end up hitting it with my foot. and it seems like it keeps getting loose. is there any way to tighten the floor vent duct to keep it from wiggling around so much??

Not a true southerner if duct tape & zip ties didn't cross your mind first.

I have the same issue in my 07 double cab. There's this floor vent right above the brake pedal and the top of my shoe hits it time to time. Actually, one pair of shoes I wear has scrape marks on it where it keeps scraping. Did the dealership do anything for you to fix this?

I put this issue on the survey Toyota sent me after I bought mine. Along with fact the steering wheel is angled up too much. The top is at least 6" farther away than the bottom. Kind of like driving a lawn mower. Lifes hard for us tall guys with big feet.
