Im across the lake and we got a good bit of rain today and recently.

@Texoma lives on the north shore... Did y'all get a shit ton of rain?

 

Think I'm going to go to my Lago lot & burn those cedars that I cut down like 2 years ago, good time to do it since we got rain

 

Was trying to avoid doing this but I need new tires bad and was hoping to be able to purchase a lift and tires at the same time but doesnt look like i will be able to and with how things are going probably shouldn't be spending money on a lift just yet. With that said do y'all have any recommendations for a Used Tire Shop around Austin? Was trying to avoid buying used but wanted to get 285's after a lift but holding off so i was thinking about trying to find a solid used set of 265/75/16 AT's and when those wear out I should be able to purchase the lift and tires at the same time. Was looking at Falken Wildpeaks but now im looking at the used direction Im assuming my options are limited. Thanks and im new so dont get on to me just yet!

I think I saw some tires post it’s recently, but I don’t know if they’re the right size or nearby.

 

Used tires are a nightmare from an insurance and liability standpoint. buyer beware is all i can say.

 

Went to Academy to get 9mm rounds, they're out of almost everything but Creedmore & Shotgun shells! WTF hoarders? Lol, damn..

Well... dang. Moved in. Needed a fridge for the new place and didn’t realize this area was hit so hard by the great COVID appliance shortage. I did learn one can haul a 27 cu ft refrigerator from Round Rock to Georgetown, standing up in the short bed, strapped to the Prinsu rack. I’m so glad I installed that rack before the trip. In the late night scurry to get dropped off at our new place, I forgot to take pictures. ‍♂️

 

I have 4x 1000 round cases of XM193 (55gr FMJ mil-spec 5.56) from the Federal plant in Anoka, MN. Up for grabs as I generally only shoot handloads. Reasonable offers entertained. PM if interested. I’d dig selling 2-3 to fund the washer/dryer.

I haven't been able to find 9mm in over 3 months...checked 3 Academy's, 2 walmarts, bass pro, and a gun store off 35 and Hester's crossing by the academy. Only place that I even know that has any ammo is the feed store in my home town. Was able to get 30-30, .22, 22 hornet, and 7.62 rounds there a couple weekends ago.

 

My online go-to is out as well.

 

Gun counter was packed at Academy too...but they didn't have hardly any guns to sell? What the hell are people buying? All the Hi-point stuff?

Haha, well damn, I didn't even realize we had another frenzy! I get why it happened I guess. Maybe because I keep enough rounds to fend for myself at all times and usually buy when I wanna plink.
I actually almost ordered 500-1000 plink rounds right before all this dumb shit from CTD. I went back to my cart a week later, pretty much after the shutdown & the prices were up my about 30%.
I said F that at the time, probably should have grabbed some to plink anyways. Not gonna lie, I kinda hate hoarders. If it hits the fan, I'm gonna take yer shit first you hoarders
JkJk, I got enough to make it to where I would need to go, I'm more of a 1 shot 1 target guy anyways.
Hopefully there'll be plink ammo again soon, I refuse to overpay for toilet paper, hand sanitizer or plink ammo.
