Well, and honestly the stronger velcro is not as flexible so running curves would be a bitch.

I don’t think it’s a snap issue so much as a sewing issue. They’re not sewn perfectly so it’s going to be impossible to get a nice flat window. It should be fine.

It looked flat laying on the floor originally. As long as you're satisfied, that's all that matters.

    It's still bad ass!

Paint day today. Skid is hanging out back drying and got this painted too. Later once it dries I’ll set the rivnuts in the crossmember and get the skid mounted. No pic of the painted skid because after I was done, I sprayed a hornets nest and ran away like a little girl.

You show me a man that doesn't run away from a hornet's nest and I'll show you a deranged man.

@stun gun would have pulled up a chair, poured himself a drink, then would've commenced to climb a ladder, pissed on the nest and come back down and sit there watching wet pissed on hornets.

Paints already dry so I mounted it. I used rivnuts in the crossmember since they won’t be seeing much force at all on a hit. Used this tool that I just bought, so much easier than using the bolt/washer method for pulling them.

All that’s left is the front bumper, but I won’t be doing anymore truck stuff today. I’ll get started next week.

Ain't that tool great? You'll be looking for places to use rivnuts now.

Thank you! Now let’s hope the same can be said about this bumper once I get started. I still can’t pin down what design I want to follow so I’m just going to start mocking stuff up with cardboard and see what feels right.

Heading over to Potts mountain! It’s west about 5 hours and is a fun, gnarly trail.

I’ve been there once before and it’s A LOT of fun. Excited to go back with bobbed bed and high clearance front and see the difference

Well, like I said, if you get behind the 8 ball hollar. I can't weld but I can grind and paint and hold shit while you weld.
