    @bludweiaer

    We have done our best to respond to your emails. Just like you posted 3 separate threads on this same exact topic....

    Your emails came in at 7:10am, 9:03am, 9:17am, 9:32am, 9:36am, 9:37am, and 9:38am.

    We open at 9 am and unfortunately we don't just have one customer we are dealing with at a time. With this said we do everything we can to respond to everyone as quickly as we can, though we are a small family operation. We did respond to you numerous times with the best resolve we can offer via email. The responses we provided were fairly overlooked and at this time there isn't much more that we can do remotely. Here is what we said:

    As mentioned in my first email photos can help, but it’s really best to see the physical product in person so one could accurately diagnose and remedy the issue, hence why I propose you taking it back to the installer or at least getting the installer involved. If something is broke or missing and the installer is not responsible for it this would be a FOX warranty claim. We do not handle, assemble or box the product, FOX does this. We can only control the issues we have control over. If a snap ring is missing or an o-ring is damaged FOX would have these replacement parts, this is not something a retailer would carry.

    In addition to this we tried to explain the components that make up the lower eye configuration. If the installer is there and sees that something is missing and/or damaged then this should have been pointed out during the install. If that is the case then it would end up being a warranty claim. As explained it can be difficult to determine certain issues over the email so retailers, installers, and manufactures have to work together should an issue arise. Instead of posting on the forum looking for answers it is still recommended to have the installer (who should be very well versed in suspension like this) inspect the product and if something is deemed incorrect then Fox can assist you. If you have troubles navigating a warranty issue with Fox we are always here to help but do not carry small replacement parts in house.

    In summary if we were there in person we could help diagnose the exact issue, if one is even present, but since we are not and since Fox won't be as well it is best to have your installer assess the issue. If the installer is not someone who knows anything about suspension then you may have to find someone local to you who is.

    Mods should ban this guy imo, I purchased stuff from @HeadStrong Off-Road almost 5 years ago and she personally helped me place my order via the phone and also overnighted my UCA's to make sure I had them for my weekend install. I have seen nothing but great things about Marie and the company over the years from everyone who has done business with her.

    To anyones who comes across this, don't let this clown give you a bad feeling about headstrong smh

    You seem to not want to listen and blame Headstrong for an issue out of their control. Take it to the shop you had it installed and ask them to look over it. If you installed it, then it’s on you. Contact fox.

    just looking for an answer, which i havnt got, is it suppose to move back and forth on the bushing, both sides are the same slid to one side, not centered on the bushing, if thats the way they are suppose to be, then just say so,,, all the installer did was line 2 holes up and slide a bolt thru and install a nut, not that complicated, im not blaming anyone, if there is something not right with them i would just like to know, i spent alot of money. next day i found what i found,,

    im not blaming headstrong, or my installer, line 2 holes up, slide a bolt thru, install nut.. if product is defective, replace it, but no one can answer if its normal for the shock to slide to one side or the other on the bushing, seems it should be centered on the bushing, simple question. cant get an answer. both side are the same.. geeeezzz

    It’s not normal. The thread you linked gives you an answer to your question. He contacted Fox, and they sent him replacement parts to solve the issue.

    You need to take it back to the person that installed it. This it an installation problem and maybe a Fox (I doubt it though), not a retailer problem.
