The previous beta tune did hold 6th on hills better - and would simply drop to 5th as needed, not double tap down to 4th as many have stated.

I have a stock V6 AT Limited and tried stock/Enhanced/Prem & after 500 or so miles I went to 33/Prem/Enhanced. Next will try the same but NON-Enhanced to see if that helps. I am also trying to back off a bit on the throttle when I anticipate the double drop - maybe I can limit it to a single drop by feathering the throttle. Hoping NON-Enhanced will do that for me...

Still too early to tell though... I do like the tunes otherwise. Looking forward to what tow mode has to offer as my 7x14 dual axle toy hauler is just begging to go out and play!

Either or, it makes no difference. I have tried both on my same commute for years, and it makes no difference.
When no one is in front of me activating the Adaptive CC sensor, the shifts happen in the same spot every time, with or without being in Regular CC.

Think about it, Adaptive CC is just Regular CC when no one is in front of you.

Adaptive CC is just Regular CC, but it is taking the additional input from the radar sensor, along with all the other inputs that Regular CC is also getting.
Another way to explain it is the Regular CC is Adaptive CC, but without the radar input.

IIRC, Mat has said in the past that the tune makes no changes to how ACC works, but does work with non-ACC. Hence my comment.

You remembered incorrectly, adding more confusion to an already confusing thread. I hope you're happy.

Drove both thx and non-thx versions of (04B30_performance_33) 650 miles each and I personally much prefer the non throttle version. The shifting feels much smoother and I felt that with the thx version I would just tap the gas if I was going 50mph and it would want to jump straight 5500 rpm to get to 75mph and then downshift abruptly, which I guess is the idea of having more sensitivity but it wasn’t for me at all. Super happy with non thx performance 33 though!!! :)
