Switched my recovery gear from a heavy Pelican 1600 to an @BlueRidgeOverlandGear Off Road Recovery Backpack. It’s much lighter, fits all my gear, fits nicely behind the passenger seat and is easier to carry than the case.

Hopefully they don’t take offense that it’s already dirty. Excited for the Tool Bag to come in so they can get the same treatment.

Looks good! I like my tool bag from them a lot so I may need to look into that recovery bag. Been wanting a better way to keep all that stuff together.

I have most of mine under the dog platform but it moves around and everything gets COVERED in dog hair. Once the pups get in my truck it becomes a snowglobe of hair within 10 minutes of the drive. Hair gets everywhere so bags and containers are easier to knock it off of than knocking it off of each individual item.

I have an Akita that sheds about 87 lbs of hair a day. He doesn't go anywhere since he gets car sick. Wife hair is all over the truck though

$80, I wouldn't have paid it if I didn't know firsthand the quality of the gear, but the carrying case for the flat pack firepit was made by them and is also extremely well made.

My primary concern was weight, dumping the 14lb box. But this bag is significantly easier to carry. And if you're bored and want to do some Dora cosplay while you are out in the woods it has backpack straps you can clip on.

The recovery bag was unnecessary on the BRWNTRDs first true off-road adventure. The previous trips were stock open open, lifted open open, lifted with different gear ratios front and back, but now it’s lifted and locked front and rear.

@desertjunkie760 and I went out to Sidewinder at Corral Canyon. EF16CBF6-107E-47F6-9756-143C796202C7.jpg3CD8AB83-C8EB-40D8-A3D2-76AB487F7B5C.jpg

    I took the easy way

    He took the medium route

Took a shortcut but got passed on the outside when things happened.

We decided to take a different route down the big rock. Despite several units of flex and 35s he was on tippytoes. I also had the same issue but found another rock in front of me. The Demello bumper took it’s first one for the team.

We finished up with another hour of sunlight on the longest day of the year so we moved on to the uphill portion of Bronco Peak.

Two sets of @ARCHIVE Hammer Hangers smashing this poor rock may have killed it.

Two Sports made it to the top with the sun in our eyes, no excuses for anyone.

Looking at the downhill side even Belle called not it. That is not in the BRWNTRDs future, I like the body panels in the shape they are.

These guys came today, so tomorrow’s project will be to change out the current setup with a new fairlead and the Flatlink E. I hit the Prolink at least once yesterday and it definitely kept me from approaching a rock face. I might have climbed it, I might have just scraped the bumper on it but we’ll never know.

Thats why I ditched the prolink too. My old bumper angled slightly down like yours and that thing caught a lot of shit. I didnt get the ropeguard. Maybe I will if i see it coming close to anything. The relentless bumper is perpendicular to the ground so Im not as concerned.

Installed the Rope Guard, took less time than the 4 minute YouTube video with the instructions. I spent more time pulling out the tools. Don’t spend the $15 for them to install it for you, that’s basically robbery.
