    So in short, the question I had asked was;

Is there a coil that is longer than the OME 906, while providing similar characteristics which are; 2" lift, progressive, spring rate set for stock

Reason for wanting a longer coil is to prevent fallout which happens at full droop. This can be remedied with some type of DIY retaining clip/bracket/etc which I may have to pursue. Otherwise, I wanted to know of a better alternative.

I don't want to bother with the later gen 4runner springs or even the LC springs mentioned since they offer 3-5" of lift; I have no idea how someone lifts a 4runner that high, and match the front without killing their CV's.

Second to that is, I was hoping there was a 4runner shock that is similar in collapsed length to the 5100 available for it (12.91") while being similar to the collapsed length of the Tundra 5100 (24.45").

The numbers don't have to be identical, but being as close to 13" means no extended bump stops, and no loss of up travel. Plus the fact that the collapsed length means that naturally, there's only so much room for the shaft. That means I'll be looking at a 10" shock...

A good amount of droop is possible out of these SUV's before running into issues like having the driveshaft hit the gas tank and so forth.

Guess I'd have to custom order a shock...a Bilstein 7100 short body even.

You have a lot to learn patowan

For the rear landcruiser 80 series front springs and rear shocks work great, youll want longer links 300 bucks on ebay with replaceable heims

Youll not know you want/need a panhard correction kit because you have to worry about that now a bad angle will make handling shitty

Than longer brake line/s if you have 4 wheel abs or not

For the front no need for brake lines but 5100s with whatever ome coils my buddy has zero down travel but height matched with the rear and good for cv boots

You ain’t kidding. Gonna find a piece of land and buy it and start making payments on it then I’ll worry about living space. The plan is to have at least a 40x40 or 50x50 shop with living quarters within. I’ll call it my SHouse (shop/house)

    LOL Wtf

You do realize I already know that (regarding the links, brakes, etc) and that's why I didn't mention any of it at all?

My question is about, and only about, the rear spring and shock combination.

We're not talking at all about the front; my King 2.5's and Icon UCA's will get thrown in there as I have extra suspension parts.

If you read my above paragraph, you'll notice I mentioned the LC coils as well (I didn't specify which but I saw the different 7 wrap and 8 wrap variants, and more) but they offer too much lift over stock height. A few of them are also good for handling extra weight, which is not what I need.

Yeah there's a good thread on a lot of rear coils as a lot interchange with the 4runner.

Issue is only the OME 906 and 891 are mentioned as providing a small lift (2") with the 891 being aimed towards extra weight.

Since you're running those coils, you should have no concern with fallout while being at full droop; how long are your rear shocks? I'm not sure how long the 80 series are...

I did but have yet to call them; I'll do so right now since I've got time.

They only list 2 sets of rear coils with no specs; thanks for reminding me though

Email sent to Dobinson's; no one picks up the phone but that must be because they don't open Sat/Sun.

The sky is hazy like it's going to rain. But it's not raining. Its the Sahara dust storm. I couldn't figure out why I was coughing my head off in the garage this morning.

    Dust in the air.
